IGARD is Singapore’s First Vision Therapy Centre. Established since 2004, IGARD is the first and only in Singapore to receive the International Board Certification in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. The clinic is run by an International Team of Senior Consultants and Vision Therapists, Dr Yap Tiong Peng (Singapore), Rachel Kelly (UK), Isobelle Wong (Malaysia), Rahjee Muthukumaran (India) and Valerie Lui (Singapore). Dr Yap Tiong Peng is the Head of IGARD Clinical Vision Therapy Services. Qualified since 1998, Dr Yap is ranked by Expertscape as a Top 5 Expert in Singapore (Number 2 for Amblyopia and Number 5 for Astigmatism between 2011 to 2021) and he holds Triple Clinical Fellowships (FAAO, FCOVD, FACBO) which are the highest regarded international hallmarks for the delivery of high quality clinical services in vision therapy.
