This is a small bakery on the 2nd level of the old Tanjong Pagar Plaza, an HDB trading house. Hidden in Tanjong Pagar Plaza on the second floor is a wonderful Japanese bakery. Since this place is away from the usual foot traffic, this place is attractive, speaks of high quality. Moist, airy layers of sponge sandwiched between light, not too sweet, generous layers of fresh cream, and the strawberries are always fresh! Try the little bits and bobs they sell – such a cute selection of candles, balloons, and cakes. In terms of quality, this bakery also has to be one of the least expensive. The cakes are chef Yamashita, very well baked. The cakes are very balanced, light, and not too sweet. Beautiful, artistic, and great flavor. It is absolutely worth it.
