This restaurant offers its customers an inexpensive alternative when it comes to teppanyaki. Usually, it’s quite expensive, but this restaurant is very economical. Orders have to be taken before you are taken to your seats. It’s nice to watch the chefs prepare the food right in front of you. The place is located on the 4th the floor of Wisma Atria on Orchard Road in a food court called the Food Republic. This one has a long U-shaped counter to let diners sit back and watch experienced chefs prepare their teppanyaki right in front of them and get served hot. If you’re single, there’s nothing better than sitting at the counter and maybe chatting with your next chair dweller while your meal is being prepared. The best meal is a set meal for the price (S$8, 95), which is a real bargain. You get the meat of your choice (beef, chicken, or pork), a bowl of soup, rice, cabbage, and legumes. The service is fast and the food is very good.
