Trendy but traditional, modern but authentic – Dabbawalla, inspired by Mumbai, is full of energy and has a bold taste typical of Mumbai cuisine. Dabbawalla means “the one who carries the box.” Dabba means box, usually tiffin, and walla means holder. Hence, the English meaning is “He who gives the food.” Wonderful Indian cuisine. The menu includes meat, vegetable dishes, seafood, all cooked in the national tradition, a lot of spices, sauces, everything is quite spicy. There is a good choice of desserts. The service is good. All in all, Dabbawala is a great place for Indian fusion foods. Offers a variety of Indian street food served with a service-style twist. Has both indoor and outdoor seating options with a live street food store.
