The splendidly mouthwatering Kway Chap is worth waiting for. Somehow you always have to wait. The food stall is at the front of the Food Center quite close to the small temple built into the market. The food here is very good and the operators speak good English. The food served is mostly pork stew, eggs, fried cottage cheese, pork skin, and internal organs such as pork mouth, intestines. Simply delicious. Served with wide rice sheets in a soup made with stewed soy and water used to cook the rice sheets. It’s a family business, and they start preparations as early as 2 a.m. to serve around 7 a.m. in the morning. Located in a food center run by the Yenos Municipal Council, it is surrounded by very affordable drinks and food cheaper than other courts in Singapore, such as Tampines.
